Warehouse Storage in Olympia

Moving for the First Time?

Using warehouse storage during a move is actually pretty straightforward. After your belongings are packed and loaded by the moving crew, they’re transported to a secure warehouse instead of going directly to your new home.

Once at the warehouse, your items are placed into large wooden storage vaults or on special racks, depending on their size. They stay there—safe, labeled, and inventoried—until you’re ready to have them delivered. When your new home is ready, schedule a redelivery, and the crew will bring everything back out and set it up for you.

Whether you’re between homes, downsizing, or managing a complex move, warehouse storage can give you the space you need. At A&E Relocation Services, we offer secure, flexible storage solutions in our 98,000-square-foot Olympia facility. Your items are transported to our warehouse, unloaded, inventoried, and stored in locked wooden vaults or racked storage. This way, they are ready for redelivery when you are. It’s a simple, safe way to protect your belongings during any transition.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I’ve personally used A&E Relocation twice—once for my move to Kona and again when I relocated back to Olympia—and both experiences were outstanding. Phil and his team are top-notch! Every mover was professional, friendly, and truly white glove in their service. As a real estate agent, I’ve also referred several clients to A&E, and they've all had glowing feedback. Phil is a pleasure to work with, and I wouldn’t... hesitate to use A&E again or recommend them to anyone needing reliable, high-quality relocation services!read more

If you choose our packing services, our team will handle all the packing for you by carefully wrapping and boxing your items using high-quality materials to keep everything protected during storage.

Our Warehouse Storage Process

Here’s how the process typically works:

  1. Packing
    • If you opt for packing services, a professional packing team will visit your home one to two days prior to pickup to pack your belongings. Our packers bring high-quality materials and will inventory the items in each box.
  2. Pickup Day
    • A trained moving team arrives at your home, wraps and protects your furniture, labels all items, creates an inventory list, and loads your items into the truck.
  3. Transportation to the Warehouse
    • Your items are taken directly to the storage facility, where they’re unloaded into storage vaults or placed in racked storage (for large pieces, such as sofas or pianos).
  4. Storage Period
    • While in storage, your items are kept in our 98,000 sq. ft. warehouse under 24/7 surveillance, secured in their own vault. The inventory is held on file, and your goods are untouched until you request redelivery or retrieval of an item.
  5. Redelivery to Your New Home
    • When you’re ready, please call us to schedule a delivery window. Your items are reloaded and delivered to your new address, where the crew will place everything where you want it.

Whether you’re in between homes or planning a longer-term stay, we’ve got the space and structure to keep your belongings safe.

“We’re not a one-size-fits-all operation,” says Kira McIntyre, A&E’s Office Manager. “We match our storage options to the needs of each customer—whether you’re storing a full home or just a few specialty items.” Fill out our online estimate form or call us at (800) 496-8276 to receive your complimentary warehouse storage estimate today.

Although this isn’t a traditional self-storage facility with individual storage units, you can still access your items as needed. We kindly request a little notice so our warehouse team can review your inventory list and prepare your vaults or larger items for safe access. Please call us at (800) 496-8276 to schedule your storage estimate.

“We want your visit to go as smoothly as possible,” says Kira McIntyre, Office Manager at A&E. “With a little notice, we’ll have everything prepped and ready so you’re not waiting around or digging through boxes.”

Definitely, temporary storage between homes, also known as storage-in-transit, is one of our most requested services. The Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission (WUTC) defines storage-in-transit as “Temporary warehouse storage (90 days or less) of a shipment pending further transportation.” Whether your move-in date is delayed a few days or a few months, we’ll keep your items safe in our warehouse until you’re ready for delivery.

“We handle last-minute schedule shifts all the time,” Office Manager Kira McIntyre shares. “When plans change, we’re here to make sure you have a place to keep your things, without the extra stress.”

Yes, our professional team takes care of everything from start to finish. We wrap your furniture, create an itemized inventory, load everything into the truck, and then directly transport it to storage. It’s a full-service solution that eliminates the need for extra handling or rental trucks.

“Customers love that they don’t have to lift a thing,” says Kira McIntyre, A&E Office Manager. “Our crew does the hard part so you can focus on the big picture.”

We understand that timelines can shift, and we’ll be flexible as our schedule allows. We kindly request that you notify us as soon as possible so we can best meet your needs. Whether you need to extend your storage or reschedule your delivery date for sooner, just let us know and we’ll adjust your plan accordingly, as our schedule allows.

“We understand that life happens,” Kira McIntyre, A&E Office Manager, says. “When your plans change, we do what we can to adjust right along with you.”

Storage costs typically depend on the space your items occupy and their total weight, with average monthly rates in Olympia ranging from $50 to $500 per month. Exact pricing can vary based on the volume, duration, and any special handling requirements. We offer simple, competitive pricing with no hidden fees. Call us at (800) 496-8276 and we’ll provide a clear, customized estimate for your warehouse storage needs.

“We keep pricing transparent because no one likes surprises,” Office Manager Kira McIntyre notes. “You’ll know exactly what to expect before signing the contract.”

Technically, we can handle pickup as long as a trusted representative is there. However, we don’t recommend it. According to the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission, “The customer assumes all liability for goods left unattended by the customer before pickup by the carrier.” Being on-site helps ensure everything is packed, inventoried, and labeled exactly how you want.

“We understand not everyone can be present on moving day, but we always suggest having someone there if possible,” says Kira McIntyre, A&E’s office manager. “It gives you more peace of mind—and helps us make sure everything is handled just the way you’d like.”
